Does it predict my future?+
No — and we're allergic to apps that claim to. Starborn describes patterns: how you tend to think, love, work, and rest, as drawn in your natal chart. It's a tool for reflection and self-knowledge, not a fortune-teller. The reading itself tells you this on its honesty page.
How accurate is the chart itself?+
The astronomy is exact. Positions are computed with the Swiss Ephemeris — precision better than one arc-second, the standard professional astrologers use. Houses use the whole-sign system, named plainly in your colophon. The interpretation is our writing; the sky is just the sky.
I don't know my birth time. Is it still worth it?+
Yes, and we handle it honestly: without a time we read planets in signs and aspects — most of the book — and omit house-based chapters rather than guess, with a written explanation of exactly what the missing hour would add. No other app we know of does this without pretending.
What happens to my birth data?+
It stays on your device. Birth details are sent once, anonymously, to compute and write your reading, and are not stored on our servers or sold to anyone. Payments run entirely through Apple. Full details in our Privacy Policy.
Can I gift a reading?+
That's half the point. Add any person's birth details to your library and their reading is written with the same care. With the Yours Forever tier you can export any reading as a typeset PDF — print it, bind it, frame the wheel. New-baby charts are the gift people remember.
Is there an Android version?+
Not yet. Starborn is iPhone-first so the typography and the wheel are exactly right. If it earns its keep, Android follows.
Refunds and cancellation?+
Subscriptions cancel anytime in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions; access continues to the end of the paid period. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com per their standard policy.
